Westover is a non-denominational church striving to become the kind of church described in the Bible – a church with relevant, Biblical teaching, heart-felt worship, honest friendships, constant prayer and compassionate care for those in need. In short, we’d like to have the kind of contagious Christianity that can influence and encourage the entire community (and even the world), one life at a time.

What we’re about

Our purpose is to develop mature followers of Jesus Christ…through growing in the Gospel, connecting in community, and serving on mission.

Gospel
The Gospel is the good news that through faith in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus, a person is forgiven of sin and transformed to live in a restored relationship with God by grace.     Key passages: 1 Corinthians 15:1-4; 1 Peter 2:24

Community
Community is a group of people who have been transformed by and are compelled by the Gospel to personally care for and to be cared for by one another.     Key passages: Ephesians 4:15-16; 1 Corinthians 12:24-27

Mission
Mission is joyfully joining in God’s plan to reconcile the world to Himself by actively demonstrating and proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ in all areas of life.     Key passages: Matthew 28:18-20; 2 Corinthians 5:18-21
